UNION – Set in the not-so-distant future, Walden opens to find Stella (Allison Altman), a failed NASA astronaut, lives in a remote cabin with her fiancé Bryan (Anthony Vaught Merchant), an Earth Activist or EA for short, a person who uses no technology and believes the government should stop funding NASA to find a new planet to colonize and focus on saving the Earth.
