The Summit Hilltoppers scored six runs in the fifth inning en route to a 72 win over the Scotch Plains-Fanwood softball team on May 1. Maddie Bogart went 3-for-3 with a home run and two runs scored for the 9-5 Raiders. Sam Friscia, Emily Roof, Olivia DiSalvo (RBI),Angelina Valente and Julia Friedrichs each singled once.

Summit’s Kaitlynn Mallory went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored. Christina Liguori went 2-for-3 and scored once. Caroline Putnam had an RBI single and scored. Lily Harness singled and scored. Winning pitcher Charlotte Yarnall recorded 14 strikeouts.
