Every season there are approximately 27 varsity sports among the Westfield, Scotch Plains-Fanwood and Cranford High Schools let alone varsity sports at AL Johnson High School.

Many of these varsity events occur on the same days and the same times, so it would be impossible for all to be covered by our small staff. For over three decades we have relied on coaches, parents and volunteers to provide us with photos and stats in order to provide coverage for all sports.

For a better opportunity to have coverage of all of our local athletes, please send results and jpg photos to dcorbin@goleader.com by Monday at noon (or earlier) for inclusion in the weekly newspaper.
