WF ‘Y’ Devilfish Compete At SAY Deep Freeze Event

The Westfield Area “Y” Devilfish competed at the SAY (Summit Area “Y”) Deep Freeze at the SummitArea “Y” in Summit on February 2-4. The team achieved additional YMCA Championship qualifying times, including: three new National, 25 new State, and 61 new Silver times.

Two new Devilfish relay records were set by the 13-14 boys: 800 Free Relay: Jonathan Peterson, Jacob Galczynski, James Kavanagh, Alex Giangone and 400 Medley Relay: Ben Lane, Jonathan Peterson, Alex Giangone, Jacob Galczynski, a record that stood since 1991.
