Cougars’ Wild Defense Routs Rahway Indian Gridders, 25-6

Lightening striking behavior on the part of the defense paid huge dividends for the Cranford football Cougars when they hosted the Rahway Indians on “Pink Out Night” at Memorial Field in Cranford on September 30. An immediate blocked punt, three sacks, several throws for losses (TFL), fumble recoveries and two interceptions allowed the 3-2 Cougars to cruise to a 25-6 triumph over the 3-3 Indians.
