Raiders Stun Blue Devils, 9-8, In Boys Lacrosse Showdown
History in the making was on tap when the 15th-ranked Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School boys lacrosse team marched into Gary Kehler Stadium to match “sticks” with the 11thranked Blue Devils in Westfield on March 28. Initially the outcome seemed as if it were going to be the same as in the past but the Raiders turned it on in the second quarter and held on to defeat the Blue Devils for the first time in their history with a 9--8 victory.
