Blue Devil Girls Jar Farmers In Sectional Basketball, 51-30
Expecting to nearly duplicate the results of their last encounter, the second-seeded Westfield High School basketball Blue Devil girls had a high degree of confidence when they hosted the 11th-seeded Union Farmers in the semifinal round of the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 4 Tournament in Westfield on March 3. The Blue Devil girls did just that, seized the opportunity immediately, took a huge lead and sent the Farmers packing with a 51-30 thrashing.
