Restaurant Closed Six Days Following Health Inspection
WESTFIELD — A Westfield eatery that has been cited for numerous health code violations in recent years was closed for six non-consecutive days following another less-than satisfactory inspection. On Monday, during a regular meeting of the Westfield Board of Health, Health Inspector Helen Mendez explained that “violations of a critical nature” related to food storage, refrigeration and sanitation had once again been discovered at 1958 Cuban Cuisine, resulting in a “conditionally satisfactory” rating.
