NJFO Rings in the New Year With Broadway Through the Ages

WESTFIELD — The New Jersey Festival Orchestra invites audiences to celebrate New Year’s Eve in style with Broadway Through the Ages, a dazzling musical journey through the best of the Great White Way. The concert takes place on Wednesday, December 31, at a new earlier start time of 5 p.m. at Westfield High School, offering the perfect early-evening celebration for families, theater lovers, and holiday revelers.

Guided by Maestro David Wroe, this year’s NYE spectacular promises an evening of unforgettable melodies, vibrant storytelling, and show-stopping artistry. Audiences will be treated to iconic hits spanning decades of Broadway history, from golden-age classics to modern musical masterpieces, performed by three acclaimed vocal soloists: Tess Marshall, Lisa Marie Rogali, and Peter Kendall Clark.

Adding an extraordinary dimension to the program, Broadway Through the Ages will also feature guest stars from the Dance Theater of Harlem, whose electrifying presence and signature grace will bring select numbers to life in exhilarating new ways. Together, the vocalists, dancers, and symphony orchestra will transform the Westfield stage into a thrilling theatrical experience.

“Our New Year’s Eve concert has become a beloved tradition, and this year we’re elevating it with an all-Broadway celebration,” said NJFO Music Director David Wroe. “With phenomenal singers, world-class dancers, and an orchestra capable of delivering both power and heart, this program offers something for everyone. It’s an evening of pure joy and artistry to welcome the new year.”

The earlier 5 p.m. start time allows patrons to enjoy a full-length musical celebration and still make evening dinner plans, attend parties, or ring in the new year at home.

Tickets for Broadway Through the Ages are on sale now and moving fast; the second seating at the Sieminski Theater on January 1 is already sold out. For tickets and more information, visit njfestivalorchestra.org or contact the box office at 908-232-9400.
