WF Blue Tops N. Providence In NPGL 12U Baseball, 6-3

Regular New Providence Green League play between the Westfield Blue 12U baseball team and the New Providence Pioneers resumed at Gumbert Field 2 in Westfield on July 15 after the Westfield Baseball League had sponsored the Cal Ripken Jr. 12U State Championship the previous two weeks. Clinging to a 2-1 lead, the Westfield Blue came up big with four runs in the bottom of the fourth inning en route a 6-3 victory.
