Summit Tops Westfield Blue In Ripken 12U Baseball, 10-4
Gaining a higher seed for the playoff portion of the Cal Ripken, Jr. District 12 12U Tournament was on the line when the Westfield Blue and the Summit Hilltoppers clashed in the second round of Pool A play at Gumbert Field 2 in Westfield on June 18. Both teams won their first game but this time the Hilltoppers were ready from the start and went on to down the Westfield Blue, 10-4.
