Raiders Captured UCT Title, Finished Softball Season, 20-7
Pitching, power and persistence highlighted the Scotch Plains-Fanwood softball team’s season. The Raiders, who came oh so close to winning the Union County Tournament (UCT) crown last year, dug down deeply this season, won the UCT title, won three of four games that were decided by one run, won three of five games decided by two runs and finished with a 20-7 record - the most in SPF history.
