The Westfield High School baseball team became champs of the North by downing 24-7 Passaic Tech, 4-1, in the Group 4 semifinal on June 9. Blue Devil pitcher Grant Como went the distance and tossed a four-hitter, while hitting two batters and striking out 10. Losing pitcher Jackson Berger struck out seven and walked no one.
