COUNTY – The Union County Board of County Commissioners invites families with children and teens living with autism and other sensory sensitivities to apply for the 2025 Sensory Friendly Summer Camp. The free summer camp is coordinated each year by the Department of Human Services through the Office for Persons with Disabilities and Special Needs and is uniquely tailored to provide children ages 12 to 16 and young adults ages 17 to 21 an inclusive and fun outdoor experience.TheSensoryFriendlySummer Camp will run from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. during the week of August 18 through August 22, and will be held at the Trailside Nature and Science Center, located at 452 New Providence Road in Mountainside.
