GIVING BACK...Peter Slingerland of Westfield chose for his Eagle Scout Project the installation of specially-designed receptacles for the collection of fishing line, which, if disposed of improperly, can be detrimental to the environment. The receptacles have been installed at Best Lake, a popular fishing spot in Watchung. Besides its environmental benefits, the project honors Peter’s late neighbor, friend and fellow angler, Matthew Huff.
