SCOTCH PLAINS — Residents of Scotch Plains and Fanwood should expect a total of $129,489,697 to fund their schools for the coming year after the district’s board of education presented its annual budget on March 13. Superintendent Joan Mast, Ed.D., told the handful of attendees at last week’s meeting that the district’s goal for the coming year is to manage the changing financial climate without lowering the quality or number of program offerings across its schools.
