RAY BAILEY HONOREE...Brenton Hatch was presented the Ray Bailey Scholastic Award on December 12 at the Westfield High School Football Awards Dinner. Each year, the senior football player with the highest grade point average receives this award, given in memory of Ray Bailey, who as a senior at Westfield High School died tragically in September 1959. Since 1966, American Legion Post 3 has sponsored this award. Brenton will attend Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pa., and will be continuing his football career. Area Residents Are Honorees At UCNJ Commencement
CRANFORD — UCNJ Union College of Union County, NJ celebrated its Winter Commencement on January 9, 2025, at the historic Union County Performing Arts Center in Rahway. Two ceremonies were held for more than 700 graduates who received their Associate in Science, Associate in Arts, and Associate in Applied Science degrees and certificates. The graduates completed their degrees in either August or December 2024.
