Highlanders Outpace Raiders In Season Ending Game, 24-14
Grinding, time-consuming ground games ruled the postseason football consolation game between the Governor Livingston Highlanders and the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders at Scotch Plains on Halloween Eve, October 31. Trailing 14-10 at the half, the Highlanders were able to keep it together offensively, while their defense held strong, to outpace the Raiders, 24-14.
