50+ C DIVISION: TEAM W L T Suspenders 6 4 1 Echo Tap Bar & Grill 6 5 Car Revolution 1 10 K Squad 1 10

Terawulf 16, Thirsty Turtle 4 Good defense and timely hitting lifted Terawulf to victory over Thirsty Turtle. Luis Palanco led the 22-hit attack going 3 for 3 (3 RBI’s 3 RS), Alfonso Colon had 2 hits (4 RBI), Diego Elliot continued his strong hitting with 3 hits (2 RBI’s), while Benny Elliot, CPArnaldo, Jaime Reyes, Sami Parrilla and Dave Strochak all went 2 for 3. Pedro Montas added 2 hits (2RBI’s 2RS). Benny Elliot pitched a strong game for the win and Ivan Rosa was solid at shortstop.

Echo Grill 23, Angry Joe’s 17 In a seesaw battle with 3 lead changes, Echo Tap & Grille scored 7 runs in the top of the 7th. For Grill Meisters – Lloyd Haymes (3-for-4), Chris Paternostro (3-for-5), winning pitcher Joe Sheridan (3-for-4) and Cruz Moctezuma (3-for-4). Tom Renna provided 2 double plays, including the game ending outs. For Angry Joe’s/Tad Pools – Kevin Robinson and Steve DAmato (HR) had 4 hits apiece, Tom Koreneski and Matt Kasper (3 hits each); Tim Mulhall, Rudie Matthijs, Anderson Monzon (HR), Dave Dudas and Tom Dilonardo had 2 hits apiece.

Douglas VW 21, K-Squad 6 For Dubs – Lou Rivera (2B, 2 triples), Luke Nacca (2 2Bs, HR) and Farlan Alusik all collected 4 hits; Carmel Garcia, Hector Munoz and winning pitcher Rich Gaul (3 hits each). Frank Padovano (3-run HR).

Rocky’s Bar & Grill 17, AJ Jersey 9 Rocky’s led first. AJ Jersey tied the game and went ahead after 4 innings then the Barmen put up 6-spots in the 5th and 6th innings. Rocky’s – Matt Walsh (3-for-4, 2-2B, 2RBI, 2RS), Gary Roman (4-for-4), Frank Mastrocola (2-for-3, 3RBI), Greg Solomon and Laquan (Fu) Gray (each 3-for-4); Mike Valicky, Dave Grandmaison and Craig Michaud (2for-3). Tom DiGregorio blasted a HR. Grandmaison had several solid outfield plays while the infield turned a few DPs. ForAJ Jersey – Ray Luciano and Alan Dente (HR) with 3 hits apiece, while Al Moeller hit 2 HRs.

Phenom Boyz 15, Suspenders 15 After falling behind 8-2, Suspenders clawed back. Trailing 10-7 going into the bottom of the 6th, Darren Muller hit a 3-run HR to tie the game and Brad Steele walked with the bases loaded to give the Suspenders a 1-run lead heading into the 7th. Phenomenal Boyz scored 4 runs in the top of the 7th to retake a 3-run lead. Nick Meltzer got the 2-out, game-tying hit to send the game to extra innings. The teams traded 1 run each in the 8th inning but ended due to darkness. For Suspenders – Brad Steele (3 hits, triple, 5 RBI); Bob Duglosz, Joe Michael, Kenny Kerdock, and Tony Taddeo (2
