Deegan Roofing 23, Angry Joe’s 8 Deegan’s potent line up was led by Charlie Collins with 4 hits, while Damon Roth, Tom Ulichny, Nick Mennona, Scott Mugele and Walt Patrylo all rapped 3 hits each. Ulichny made several outstanding plays in leftfield, and Mennona made the defensive play of the game with a run saving web gem from his catcher’s spot. Angry Joe’s/Tad Pools offense was led by Erik Dunn and Vinnie Rappa with 3 hits each, while Tim Mulhall, Dave Dudas and Tom Korzeneski added 2 hits apiece.

Rocky’s Bar 21, Thirsty Turtle 6 A solid defense and a sparked offense of 28 hits kept the Barmen in front throughout the game. Mike Valicky (3-for-3, 3 RBI), Rick Knierim (3-for-4), Matt Walsh (2for-2), Tom DiGregorio (2-for-2, 4RBI) led the way, while Gary Roman, Dave Grandmaison, Laquan Fu Gray, Craig Michaud, Greg Solomon, Ellan Ben-Hayon, Dennis Maluchnik, Steve Monek and Frank Mastrocola went 2-for-3.

AJ Jersey 19, Terawulf 5

After 4 innings of play, AJ Jersey led 16-0. The outstanding pitching of Mario Fastiggi along with excellent fielding by Steve Hobson and Nick Nitti kept Terawulf bats at bay. Vinny Cordaro, Ray Luciano, Chris Morrison, Miguel Ramos, Craig Weinstein & Fastiggi led the offense.

Douglas VW 17, Phenom Boyz 12 For Douglas – Lou Rivera and Mike Hoffmann (each collected 3 key hits); Carmelo Garcia, Steve Steransak, Frank Padovano, Hector Munoz and Willie Shumate (2 hits apiece). Rich Gaul got the win on the hill.

Echo Tap & Grille 17, K Squad 1 Deuce Brown, who rang the bell a week ago, made a triumphant return with a 2-for-2 night. Also contributing at the plate were Dr. Rob Wallace (2-for-3), and Joe Sherdian(3-for-3), Scott Graham (3-for-3) and Eddie Engram (2-for-3). Dave P Handleman got the win for the barmen.
