St. Sebastian 5, St. Wolfgang 4 St. Sebastian snatched the lead late in their 5-4 victory over St Wolfgang with a run scoring single by Glenn Gang in the sixth. Sebas rallied for the victory despite trailing 4-0 in the first. Toeing the rubber for Sebastian, Gang surrendered no runs after the first, thanks in part to a defense that turned three double plays. Ricky Cintron, Mike Surburg, Gang, Tim Loesch, Welles Pikaart and Joe Ursino each collected multiple hits for St. Sebastian. Brian Stitt (2-3, 2RBI), Joe Oporto (33) and Randall Marquez all had multihits to pace the Wolfies.
St. Ignatius, 20, St. Vincent 9 Rookie John Tomasulo thumped a grand slam home run to lead St Ignatius past St. Vincent. Both offenses were strong at the plate as Iggy collected 31 hits and St. Vincent 21. Lou Fraguas and Mike Markowycz were a force as they each collected four hits for St. Iggy. John Griffin, Billy Aumenta, Josh Baik, “Commish” Jim Killeen, Tony Perconte, Steve Pirella, Rob Stratton, and Captain Bob McGuinness each collected multiple hits for Iggy. Rookie Eric Carrero (4-5, HR),Adam Romano (3-4, 4RBI), and Pat “The Bat” Nigro (4-4) led St. Vincent. “Sweet” Lou Balestriere, Jimmy Barba, Aner Sousa and Captain Keith Karyczak all contributed with multihits for St Vincent.

St. Ant got on the board in the top of the first inning after Rei Santiago doubled, scoring two runs, and Brian Jackson singled, scoring one run. St. Justin tied the game in the bottom of the first thanks to doubles from Francis Vecchione and rookie Morris Montoya. From there the game belonged to St. Anthony, as they racked up 19 hits. John “Greenie” Greenblatt (4-4, 4RBI), Mike D’Amato, Ara Movsesian, Matt Jackson, Gerry Reipe, Chris “Roc” Sarna, and “Tiny” Villegas each collected multiple hits for St. Ant. Vecchione, Montoya and captain Mike Cunningham each collected two hits for St. Justin.
