College Club’s Joan Skubish Receives Good Scout Award

FANWOOD/SCOTCH PLAINS — Joan Skubish, co-president of the College Club of Fanwood-Scotch Plains, recently was presented the Good Scout Award from the Boy Scouts Of America-Patriots’ Path Council for her volunteer spirit and dedication to many organizations in addition to the College Club.

Ms. Skubish was recognized on May 2 at a dinner reception at The Westwood in Garwood. Members of the College Club were on hand to congratulate her and share in her achievement.

Ms. Skubish was introduced by Jean Naugle, co-president of the College Club of Fanwood-Scotch Plains. “We are proud of Joan and grateful for her legacy with the College Club, passed on to Joan by her mother, who years ago was a member of the College Club and chaired the Scholarship Committee,” Ms. Naugle said.
