Dorothy Scanlon, Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister
Dorothy Scanlon, 85, of Mountainside, N.J., formerly of Scotch Plains, N.J., entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 14, 2024.
Dorothy was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Frank and Malvina (Schey) Terranova. She lived in Staten Island prior to moving to Westfield, N.J. She later lived in Scotch Plains, N.J., before moving to Mountainside.
Dorothy is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 65 years, John T. Scanlon; her devoted children, Lorraine Schiano and her husband, Frank, Katherine Vilarino and her husband, Manny, Joanne Treboschi and her husband, Carl, and Elizabeth Paskowski and her husband, John; her cherished 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, and her dear sister, Corinne Pina. Dorothy was predeceased by her eldest grandson, Nicholas.
