Angela Salomone Avery, Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother
Angela Salomone Avery, 101, of Lynchburg, Virginia, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024.
She was predeceased by her parents, Assunta and Emiliano Salomone; her beloved husband, Charles Sr., and her son, John David Avery.
Angela is survived by her sons, Charles and his wife, Ellen, and James and his wife, Susan; her daughter- in-law, Kathleen; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Angela was special. She never met a stranger, and if you had the pleasure of knowing her, you were amazed by her energy and her optimistic nature. Above all, Angela’s love for her family was paramount in her life. She was loved by so many, and will always hold a special place in our hearts. Family and friends will gather from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, February 23, at Rossi Funeral Home, 1937 Westfield Avenue, Westfield, N.J. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 24, at the Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Westfield, N.J. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield.
