Elizabeth Edges ALJ In Girls Soccer, 5-4
It took two overtimes but the Elizabeth Lady Minuteman managed to edge theALJohnson girls soccer team, 5-4, on September 30. Giovanna Echavarria drilled in three goals for Elizabeth, while Brianna Concepcion had a goal and three assists, and Christi Mendoza scored once.

Ava DeMarco, Laney Panayoutou, Ava Almeida and Ali LaBarbera each scored once for the Crusaders. Bella Gonzalez added two assists and goalkeeper Suzie Pires recorded 16 saves.
