About The 2020 Cover: Resident Ruth Maloney submitted to our call for photos a serene image she took a year ago of The Presbyterian Church of Westfield at sunset. The church was established in 1728, originally constructed as a log house by settlers. The striking sanctuary we all see today with its steeple standing tall atop the hill facing East Broad Street was erected in 1861 and dedicated a year later. Ms. Maloney has lived in Westfield since 1992 and has been a hobby photographer since she was a kid.
