Letter Policy:

We cherish and solicit your views on local issues. Letters are reviewed for libel, slander, commercialism, falsehoods and errors. E-mail your letter to by Monday at 9 a.m. prior to the Thursday of publication. Include your name, address, email address, telephone number for verification of authorship. We publish only name and town. Letters should be no more than 500 words. Due to the volume of letters we receive we are unable to respond to each letter. Not all letters will be published.

Candidate Statements:

Candidates for elected office are invited to submit op-ed columns each week. Columns should be between 250 and 500 words, and be issue based with no personal attacks on opponents.
