Perhaps due to the upcoming Independence Day celebrations, the Westfield White 11U baseball Blue Devils barely had enough to fill a lineup when they hosted the West Orange 11U’s in New Providence Green League play at Gumbert Field 2 in Westfield on June 30. The West Orange squad took advantage of a number of free passes and hit batters to walk away with a 9-3 victory.
