One huge burst and an outstanding pitching performance was all that was needed for the sixth-seeded Westfield High School baseball team in its North Jersey, Section 2, Group 4 first round game with the 11th-seeded Union Farmers in Westfield on May 27. Very strong pitching from both teams yielded a scoreless first three innings but a six-run eruption in the bottom of the fourth inning propelled the 1411-1 Blue Devils on their way to a 63 victory.
