Blue Devils Bow to Warriors, Defeat Livingston in Softball
Two very different outcomes happened when the Westfield High School softball team hosted the No. 12 Watchung Hills Warriors on May 18 then traveled to Livingston to face the Lancers on May 20. The highly powered 21-3 Warriors scored 11 runs within the first three innings then tacked on another to claim a 12-1, five-inning victory. However, against the Lancers, the majority of the runs for both teams were scored in the fifth and sixth innings but the Blue Devils would prevail, 12-8.
