ALJ Crusaders Rap UC Vikings For UCT Baseball Crown, 11-0
It may have taken 46 years to get back on the top rung but the fourthseeded ALJohnson High School baseball Crusaders did it in style against the second-seeded Union Catholic Vikings at Kean University in Union on May 18. The 18-4 Crusaders got a one-hit, two-walk, two strikeout performance from Vince Cilento, while his offense bombarded the 15-10 Vikings with six runs in the third inning, two runs in the fourth and three more runs in the fifth to claim an 11-0, fiveinning victory and the Union County Tournament Championship.
