Raider Nine ‘Go Yard’ 4 HRs; Down Summit, 13-0, 5 Innings

Heavy artillery began early from one team and continued throughout in a shortened baseball game between the Summit Hilltoppers and the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders at Scotch Plains on May 4. All the firepower, including four home runs, a triple and two doubles, came off the bats of the Raiders in a four and one-half inning, 13-0 shutout.
