The No. 1 Governor Livingston Highlanders baseball team defeated the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders, 12-3, on April 7 to record its 39th straight win. Winning pitcher Keith Mann tossed four innings and allowed five hits and three walks, while striking out six. Jaiden Fernandez and Mateo Liloia relieved. In the second game at GL on April 9, the Highlanders held off a huge Raider comeback to escape with a 9-8 win.
