SCOTCH PLAINS-FANWOOD — This year’s trend of rising taxes in Union County continued Wednesday when the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Board of Education announced its 2026-2027 school budget, introducing a $50 monthly increase to support rising operation costs. Board President Evan Murray and member Sinali Barve were absent from the meeting.
