Intense desire and the return of the proper offensive and defensive tools, along with two very solid mound aces could guide the Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School softball team to success once again this season. Two years ago, the Raiders came oh so close to winning the Union County Tournament (UCT) crown but their persistence finally earned them the UCT title last year and a 20-7 record - the most in SPF history.
