WESTFIELD — Town officials explained Tuesday night that residents should expect to see their municipal taxes increase by about $80 this year in response to escalating health insurance costs and other statemandated expenses. “This budget demonstrates a careful and measured approach, balancing these external cost increases and broader economic trends with the high level of services that our town provides while continuing to invest in our infrastructure and our community,” Mayor Jeremy Berman said.
