MOUNTAINSIDE --As school districts across New Jersey prepare to meet new state mandates for grief education, the Westfield School District is taking a proactive and pioneering lead. Through a multi-phase partnership with Imagine, A Center for Coping with Loss, Westfield’s School Counselors and Student Assistance Counselors (SACs) recently completed an intensive professional development series, including Imagine’s 101, 201, 301, and Loss and Grief Specialist Trainings.
