Blue Devil Icemen Top Summit, Fall to Lancers for McInnis Cup
The No. 6 Westfield High School ice hockey team skated past the Summit Hilltoppers, 5-2, in the semifinal round of the McInnis Cup at Warinanco Rink in Roselle on February 11 but would definitely find out it would be much harder to defend its title on the ice at CodeyArena in West Orange against the No. 10 Livingston Lancers on February 18. The 18-3 Lancers scored two first-period goals en route to a 3-2 victory for the crown.
