Unbeaten Crusader Girls Rap Raiders in Basketball, 49-34
A veteran squad of AL Johnson High School girls basketball Crusaders strolled into Scotch Plains on January 23 with full intentions of remaining an undefeated team. The Crusader girls took a five-point lead in the first quarter, extended it to eight points by halftime, held off a slight comeback by the Raiders in the third quarter then piled it on in the fourth to grab a 49-34 victory and improve their record to 13-0.
