Cougar Matmen Overwhelm Highlanders in Opener, 60-18
Being well prepared in their season opener in Cranford on December 16 - the 81st anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge of World War II - against the Governor Livingston Highlanders, a team that nearly upset them last year, was of utmost importance to the Cranford High School Cougar matmen. Unlike in the Battle of the Bulge when the allied forces were initially caught off guard, the Cougars were more than ready and delivered an overwhelming 60-18 defeat to the Highlanders.
