In the season of Thanksgiving in addition to wishing everyone a wonderful holiday with family and friends, I would like to express my thanks to the community of Scotch Plains-Fanwood for the opportunity to represent them for the last 18 years on the Board of Education. I worked very hard to put students first when making decisions keeping in mind the realities of high property taxes in New Jersey. I also want to thank the many Board members I have had the opportunity to serve with for their dedication and collegiality. Many served as mentors when I joined the Board as a new member, and I learned from each of their perspectives.
