Cougars Come Back to Edge Middletown So. in Soccer, 5-4

An early goal turned out to be very important for the second-seeded Cranford High School girls soccer Cougars when they hosted the Middletown South Eagles in the semifinal round of the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 3 Tournament at Memorial Field in Cranford on November 12. The Eagles soared with a pair of goals late in the first half but the Cougar girls regrouped in the second half to pull off a 5-4 comeback victory.
