Soccer Cougars Shut Down Millburn Girls in Section, 3-0

Patience was needed by the second- seeded Cranford High School Cougar soccer girls while they tried to figure out how to find the vulnerability in the 15th-seeded Millburn Millers’ drawn back defense during the North Jersey Section 2, Group 3 Playoffs at Memorial Field in Cranford on November 5. After a scoreless first half, the 13-3-1 Cougars revamped their offensive strategy and struck gold three times to claim a 3-0 victory.
