Blue Devils ‘Shell’ Cardinals In Girls Soccer Sectional, 7-0
Not having a major drop off after winning the Union County Tournament championship was a minor concern for the top-seeded Westfield High School girls soccer Blue Devils when they hosted the 16th-seeded Plainfield Cardinals at Gary Kehler Stadium in Westfield on November 5. There was definitely no drop off as the 15-0 Blue Devils shelled the 5-13 Cardinals en route to a 7-0 triumph in the first round of the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 4 playoffs.
