Cougars’ 2nd-Half Goal Stuns Blue Devils in Boys Soccer, 1-0

Finishing the regular season on a winning note would be a boost for either team when the Westfield High School boys soccer team entertained the highly-improved Cranford Cougar squad at Gary Kehler Stadium in Westfield on October 28. Very stubborn defense kept both teams’ offenses in check until junior midfielder Charlie Springer set up sophomore midfielder Aiden Cogdill with the winning goal in the second half to secure a 1-0, Cranford victory.
