Letters to the Editor
Reshma Adwar Candidate Ward 1, Westfield on
October 30, 2025
I Humbly Ask for Your Vote

Dear Ward 1 Neighbors, I’m Reshma Adwar, and I’m running for Town Council to be your representative.

Living in Westfield was a longheld dream since I was a teenager. When my husband and I moved here with our two children, that dream came to life – not just because of the vibrant downtown and great schools, but because of you – the neighbors who welcomed us with warmth and friendship. From the start, Westfield has felt like home, and that’s why I’m so excited to give back to this community we all cherish.

Over the past several months, I’ve had the joy of meeting so many of you, whether at your doorsteps, around town, on the phone, or at local events. I’ve truly enjoyed our conversations – listening to your concerns, hearing your ideas, and learning how best I can serve and represent you. Every story and every handshake has reminded me of what makes this town so special: our sense of connection and care for one another.

For me, so much of leadership is about values. Values that are revealed in how we listen, how we engage, what we protect, and what we stand up for. This election, like all elections, is about who we are and who we want to be as a community.

We are neighbors first, and that’s how I’ll lead – by listening with intention, acting with compassion. If I have the privilege of serving as your councilwoman, I’ll always make decisions with your best interests at heart, grounded in our shared community values. Because Westfield isn’t just a place on a map; it’s the people who make it home. It’s you.

Together, we can build a Westfield where every resident feels heard, valued, and proud to belong. A town that reflects the very best of who we are: for each other, for our children, and for generations to come.

If you share this vision, I humbly ask for your trust, your voice, and your vote.

Let’s shape the future of Westfield together!

Sincerely,
