Constant pressuring finally paid off for the sixth-seeded Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School Raider soccer girls when they hosted the 11th-seeded Union Catholic Vikings in the second round of the Union County Tournament in Scotch Plains on October 16. After yielding a goal in the first half, the 7-4-1 Raiders struck gold twice in the second half to earn a 2-1 victory over the 10-4-1 Vikings.
