I’ve been a Westfield resident since 1969, and when I think of the kind of leadership our town needs, I think of Jenn Gilman. I first got to know Jenn and her husband, Keith, through Temple Emanu-El, where their warmth and friendliness stood out right away. I’ve seen how they welcome newcomers at Friday night services, always going out of their way to make people feel part of the community.
Over the years, I’ve also experienced Jenn’s kindness as a neighbor. After a storm knocked down a tree on my property, she was the first to call to see if I was okay. That small act meant a great deal and it showed me she truly looks out for others. Knowing that I am a widow, Jenn has made an effort to check in on me and offer any type of assistance and help I may need.
Jenn cares deeply about Westfield’s seniors and families. She listens sincerely, follows through, and pays attention to the everyday issues that matter, like safe streets and supporting neighbors. She understands that building community means bringing people together across generations.
After more than 50 years in Westfield, I know how important it is to have leaders with heart and integrity. That’s why I’m proud to support Jenn Gilman for Town Council.
Sincerely,
Pearl Wiener
