Cougars Overcome Mistakes, Defeat Raider Gridders, 35-6
Mental lapses made throughout the game were overcome by outstanding offensive and defensive plays when the Cranford football Cougars hosted the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders at Memorial Field on October 10. The Cougars shot themselves in the foot several times with fumbles but their offense combined a successful aerial and ground attack, while the defense pulled off timely sacks and interceptions to emerge with a 35-6 triumph.
