SCOTCH PLAINS – Shady Rest Country Club, the first Black-owned golf and country club in the United States, was proudly inducted into the National Black Golf Hall of Fame (NBGHF) during the Hall’s 39th Anniversary Ceremony on Saturday, September 13, in Duluth, Georgia.
